Question Opera - Cookies - deleting HELP pls

Trying to delete the cookies in Opera, but it is one at a time through the dialogue box in Opera. CCleaner does not seem to go into Opera and clear them out.

    Where are they?
How can i get in and get rid of them ALL without one by one?

Opera help normally very good, not that good in this instance.

    Help greatly appreciated.

    Cheers.....Q

I guess you found the cookies box in tools/advanced. Ok I don't know how to delete them en masse but if you're picking some out for the purposes of quidco then my only tip is to look for the retailer in your cookies list with & without the www prefix, e.g. aa.com & www.aa.com, hopefully this will make everything work smoothly. Don't panic too much about jumping through hoops for quidco just as long as you're not hopping between quidco linked pages & non-linked pages while you're making your purchase choices.
No sympathy for the devil; keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride...

You are right it is for Quidco. BUt in exploration of the cookie situation I have what seems liek thousands. IT is time for a clear out anyway.

It woudl be good to somehow figure out how to get rid on mass. There are simply too many. It is appreant Opera keeps its cookies seperate to other brwosers (for the simple reason CCleaner does not get rid) So as i intend to use FIrefox just for Quidco I will hopefully be ok.

My scroll bar on the cookie box is as thin as a nats whisker! Been at it for ages now!

    Cheers.....Q

There is a delete all cookies option (amongst many other things). Tools -> Delete Private Data

Press the 'Details' button and you can customise exactly what you want to and not to delete.

Thats what is listed in the Opera help, but i have not got a Private Data.

I go to Tools, then either advanced - cookies or Tools - preferences - cookies both bring up the same box. I do nto have Delete Private Data anywhere?

OK, now i have LOOKED i can see it and i have done it! I have looked over that SO MANY TIMES now.

    Thanks, Q
