    Default Any gardeners here

    Having a disastorus year with the garden this year. Got a major problem in my greenhouse with all my tomato plants turning black and the fruit also rotting before they are ready to pull. Here are some pics of the plants and tomatoes.

    Any one have any idea what has gone wrong this year.

    Looks like Blight mate. Make sure you don’t re-plant the plants outside otherwise it will spread. It also contaminates the soil so don’t plant new plants in the already contaminated soil and don’t compost contaminated plants and soil. Get some fungicide to eradicate the disease.

    I’ve also had a disastrous year in the garden. My fruit trees have been destroyed by magpies and the wet weather is not helping.

    Deffo get some fungicidal stuff going
    Apart from the fruit & veg being kak, fuschias aint doin a lot either.
    In fact no plants except my grass is growing very well at all, apart from weeds, and its too wet to mow the bloody lawn as well - double whammy there.

    cheers for the replys. I thought it was blight as my Potatoes and broard beans had it bad.
    will get some fungacide and clean everything out before next year and keep some handy just incase it comes back next year.
    The only things doing well in my garden this year are onions, leeks, and beetroot.
