Need Urgent Help ?

Hi guys, I need some urgent help with a DVD writer.

I only have x1 IDE channels on my new motherboard, so have managed to get my drives to boot off my raid card.

The problem I am having is that I cannot seem to get the onboard IDE to recognise and install my writer properly. The PC just freezes whilst installing and then I cannot do anything after that.

The PC boots up fine in safe mode and I can get into everything normally and it installs the writer. I know this as I am in safe mode now, lol.

Please, please help me as this has now been doing me scone in for weeks now.

All sorted now I think.

I managed to uninstall and reinstall it in safe mode. This is the first time I have rebooted in normal mode since, so hopefully everything should be fine, lol.
