Topfield 5800 pvr, thats the best you are going to get. Twin Tuner 250 gig HD and works very well, highly reccomended by me but not cheap

I only want a couple of boxes for the bedrooms.... doesnt need dual tuner, no hdd...
Just a nice small / Compact FreeView box, with Card Slot... Nothing too Fancy..

I got a £19.99 jobby from Comet and it is great. I do need a bigger ariel to get more channels though. Not sure about the card slot, what's that for then?
I think the Humax ones are quite good, but cost a bit more than the bog standard ones. Not many have TopUpTv support either, but it's only worth while worrying about that if you want Setanta Sports, and then you might as well get Sky....
I assume you are talking about terrestrial digital tv?

I have got a Thompson one, it was cheap and has coaxil out for my amp! It has a card slot as well.
