If your getting no IP address from the router try resetting all your IP protocols and refreshing all your IP settings.

Bring up a command line and type this below

    netsh int ip reset C:\tcplog.txt

When it is finished it will have created a log of all that it did.

Don't know if this will help but i had the same issue and this helped.

Everyone, to save you replying to this thread in vain, I helped Ca sort it over MSN last night. He's now mobile and surfing like a bunny.

    Cheers

    Ignorance mainly

Kidding... His wireless card was not set to 802.11g. Simple as that... Still, we had a nice chat for a couple of hours

Just a quick question, are you typing your WEP Key in CAPS when asked for your WEP Key.

if not this might be the problem, if you are putting it in caps then maybe you could try pressing the reset button on the back of your router to restore to factory and start again putting your settings back in if need be.

another thing may be try disabling your wireless card then re-enabling it, sometimes fixes this problem on mine.

Glad its sorted, but just cos I`ve read 2 pages I think I should post
Given the fact you said a wired connection didnt work either, I would have told you to grab the XP Winsock Fix and run that.

    Ahh that feels better!
