    Question Question about stealth patching

    Hi guys

Ok I have a load of backups that need stealth patching. Basically got the backups off a mate so how do i know if i use a PAL or NTSC patch on them? any easy way to check or best to just select the PAL one then NTSC if an error comes up or does it not work like that.?

Also seeing as i only have the backups on disc - is this the right method to create a stealth backup of them:

Create .ISO image of unpatched backup with CloneCD.
Patch ISO with correct stealth patch in XDVDMulleter
    Burn .ISO with imgburn

    Thanks people!

just choose crc checking in mulletter and most of the time it'll auto repair it for you

if you need to patch manually then this site is pretty good: http://www.360patches.com/PAL/
You see, TheThingIs, eventually you'll be all right!

ok i cant get past the locating the stealth sectors bit in mulletter i choose the DMI and PFI files and get PFI file is invalid. I tried both NTSC and PAL patches

are you saying i can skip this bit?

when i go into settings then stealth tab everything is ticked by default apart from allow override of stealth checks. should this be ticked? shall i just leave default settings and dont alter layout and say use source ISO for the stealth patches?

    Thanks!
