    Be internet, Ukfsn, Zen
avoid talk talk, orange, wanadoo etc etc

some good review sites to check are
    http://www.dslzoneuk.net/
    http://www.thinkbroadband.com/

remember when it comes to speed, limits and throttling you get what you pay for !!!

    current terms for above are
    be 3 months min term
    uksfn 1 month
    Zen 1 month

If you want cheap, go for the cheapest.

If you want a solid service and good customer support I would recommend Zen.
They answer the phone/emails quickly and always help, they are extremely flexible, I have messed them about changing ISP/hosting packages within days of setting up and they have accommodated me and they have a forum.

They actually seem to give a shit, which is rare in this day and age.

Don't go with BT mate, much better deals out there.

As others have said, if you can get Be unlimited in your exchange then go for it. I've never had a problem with them and I'm more than happy with the speed.

Another negative about BT is the extremely pushy sales when you contact them.

I phoned to enquire and had to stand my ground very firmly to not be signed up there and then with a shit load of extra security and backup packages.

so why ask for advice?? why waste peoples time?

members have suggested a few of the top isp's around atm but instead you are going with BT, despite people telling you not to.

i love it when people like you come back to your thread in 3 months time and post your shit experience and tell us about how youve demanded your MAC code.

    fucking time waster.

If you have a point to put across then please feel free but there was no need for that, your just plain rude.

be/ukfsn or cable are really the only three decent alternatives around and you cant get cable.

i didnt make those points cos other have already made them... which you promptly ignored anyway.

    rude or not, im right.

im very interested to find out the reasons zen gave you for not being able to recieve their services.

as far as im aware they are not an LLU provider, so it shouldnt make a jot of difference where you live, as long as you can get adsl you can get zen.
