If I attach another screen via the VGA and use dual screen's the taskbar is ONLY on the left hand screen by default.

For some reason windows is only detecting it as one monitor and displaying it across both?
Maybe that is the problem, on my one at home it sees two separate displays.
They are both connected by DVI not VGA tho so maybe that is why
The nvidia control panel finds both tho...

Maybe ill get IT to install new drivers see if that solves it.
DualView is not an option for me anywhere at the moment? of at least I cannot see it.
Is that in nView section somewhere? That is currently disabled.
It mentions dual view when I choose the two monitors in the options but there is no option to select it.

I would go the new driver route. I take it you have re-booted after plugging the other monitor in?

You shouldn't need to use the Nvidia shite web based menu (I hate that!), you should be able to do it in the windows properties window and click the 'extend my desktop' box for the 2nd display.

What card do you have in?

you have the settings set so it stretches the display along both screens, you need to change this in the nvidia settings. what card are u using?

After restarting it now shows the second monitor and then I just choose the extend to second monitor and now it all works fine.
