    Help charging problem

    i bought a battery pack and charger cable for my 360, but when i turn the console of it stops charging, can anyone tell me what im doing wrong please.

    it says to charge for around 18 hours before use, but i cant leave my 360 running that long can i?.

    any advise would be gratefully recieved.thx

    if you leave ya pc on at night just plug it into the usb port on that if not try another port on the 360 see if it works that way

    when u plug it in, if the console is switched off, it wont work at all. start the 360 up, then try it. once the red light comes on, on the charger, switch off the 360, it will stop charging for a second then will contuine, you will hear the fans on the 360 running very slowly

    the red light doesn't come on the first time you charge.

    didn't on mine and i have 2. i checked to see if they were charging by the dashboard battery indicator.

    just get a usb powered hub and plug it into that.

    thx everyone for the replies, but i tried everything and no joy, i have both ms and generic ive tried usb pc and 360, awell i guess i'll go back to ordinary batteries, i left k+.
