Sally Morgan - Star Psychic. What do you think?

I've always had a true dawkinsesque denial and distain for things like religion, strange phenomenon, psychics and generally anything within our our grasp of scientific understanding that fact or reason cannot explain.

But watching this programme, i'm genuinely impressed and intrigued at how accurate this woman is with the readings she does. For all I know this could be a complete hoax, but I feel like there is genuinely something to make me think twice about everything I stand firmly against, and I even want to go as far as persuing the topic of programme further in order to try and determine if its real or not for my own peace of mind.

The reactions of the people she reads for appear to be completely genuine and some of the things she says seem to be too specific for her to be using any form of linguistic or suggestive techniques, in addition to that she appears to be spot on nearly 100% of the time.

Whats your thoughts on any of this?

not seen it mind you.. could it be edited in any way? or just a total fix? tv is really the perfect medium for psychics. all you know is what they have chosen to show you.

Saw one episode where she was in front of a studio audience, only she wasnt. She was in another room with a camera so she couldnt actually see any of the audience. she just had a list of names.

The narrators explained that she got alot of people in the audience completely wrong, and only got some of them right.

So she isnt right 100% of the time, and the program makers, or her in fact didnt try to hide it.

To be honest though, even though I was impressed it did seem a bit dodgy. Shes supposed to be psychic to the stars right? But surely thats got to be the easiest thing for anyone with a brain to be able to do. If their stars then all you need is an internet connection before you go see them to dig up some details!

IF, and it's a big if, none of the show was faked, then I must admit it did come over pretty convincingly. Compared to some of the other shite you see on UK Living or whatever. And if it was faked, it still made for quite an enjoyable series.
