    Thanks Paul,

Wasn't quite what I wanted, but didn't have my shutter remote with me for the image I wanted, but guess i'm down here for a few months yet so plenty of time to try it again

I noticed a couple of you serious snappers have mentioned recently that you didn't have a shutter remote with you, your fancy cameras don't have a shutter delay..?

Thanks guys, glad you liked it, I'm very pleased with the result. Will try to upload the others I took (London eye long exposure mostly) when I get home this weekend. Hoping to head over to highgate cemetery one day next week too, so looking forward to getting some shots over there, guess it ain't so bad being down in London aferall

I love the lighting in this. And as fincher says, what time did you take this? I've never seen it that empty !

Thanks guys, glad you liked it, planning on heading back around the city one night this week, but will make sure i have my wide-angle with me this time, and there was also some skate park on the south bank too, so will take my flash so i can finally get the rear-curtain shots of boarders + skaters i've been wanting for a while.

Here's another, same location, but converted to b+w, added a little grain, but I like the curves on the bridge + railings here

It wasn't that late tbh, about 10pm or so I think, it wasn't that empty, a few people still walking past, but as it was a long exposure they don't really stand out that well in the shot anyway so not a big deal

As for the sky, not really played with it much, must have tweaked contrast a bit during raw import but certainly not played around with darkening sky or owt, was mostly down to the camera metering for the light in the foreground, so doesn't really expose for long enough to get any sky detail in there.

Belial, any chance I can make a request? Next time you're in London in the evening if you could find within your good self to take a picture from Blackfriars bridge looking down towards the Eye, with all those beautiful colours lighting up the building- would be ace! Many a time I've walked over that bridge on my way to work (before the bastards relocated me to Docklands) and just wished I was good enough! The picture here is absolutely stunning, if anyone can do justice to my "favourite shot of London" its got to be you [/end arse lick]
