    Default utorrent 1.7.4

this morning got a message that there was an update for utorrent so i clicked the button, ever since my torrents have either stopped or slowed down. has anyone else has this?
also i tried to install an earlier version and it accesses the web site on the install and installs the latest version, i tried doing a system restore in XP but that didn't restore utorrent to its previous version,

does anyone have any suggestions or a full copy of 1.7.3 which won't access the internet for the latest update when installing?

or is there any other software out there that is better than this, as i was getting very fast download speeds, i belong to a few sites and all seem the same.

i've rechecked all the setting downloading doesn't seem to go over 20kb/s for each torrent before it was running upto 600kb/s if all was right, and the uploads has also slowed it now doesn't seem to upload much over 10kb/s for all seeded torrents, i checked the limits they are all the same.

i've even taken down the firewall just in case there was a problem there and it made no difference.

Who is your ISP? My friend was with Pipex and they capped he's torrents at 20/30k

I stil use utorrent 1.6 as a lot of the private torrent sites banned the newer version because of the ease that you could manipulate your seeding.

using both public and private got it all sorted now it just started to work, all except one site and they only support certain versions of software and the new one is not supported, so if i can i will roll back as i had no complaints with the version i was using

have got a version of 1.6 now and all is great

Odd. I've not experienced any problems with the new version, but I'm not d/l that much...

I know the uTorrent was a fave for Media Guardian' interdiction... So I may move to another client.

May be to do with that?!
