The first file any domain heads for is index.html

    so www.mydomain.com will launch www.mydomain.com/index.html

make sure you drop the index.html in the root folder.

Make sure you don't have any redirection going on. Looks like your base url is being redirected to the forum folder.

Make sure you have dropped your index.html in the root folder. If you have and you are still being redirected then check your domain host for redirection.

You should be able to sort this yourself with our help but if you are really stumped then PM with FTP axx details and I'll take a peek. But you should be able to fix this without that.

You have a redirection in there from http://www.hardstylenation.net/ to http://www.hardstylenation.net/forum/.
You will either need to remove this re-direction (and then links to your forum will be ./forum/" or put your index.html in your forum folder (VERY VERY unadvisable)

the server is probably calling index.html first, before the .php, so check the content of the .html file. If there's anything like <meta http-equiv="refresh"> or <script> window.location then they are redirecting to your forum, and you can pretty much safely delete those lines. It could though be a setting in your server cp, to redirect to the /forum pages.

If you're unsure, just upload the .hmtl and .php files (index.) to here and we can take a look and let you know.
