Crazy alcoholic drinks

Yeah we all know about the "snakebite" mixers we get down the pub. However after trying a crazy drink on holiday, I wondered if there were any more mad booze mixes out there that DF members know?

The drink I tried on holiday, I had already heard of but I had never tried it before and was amazed how it was made. This is what I saw, which made me order one too...

One Tall glass
1st shake in a good helping of salt
then a good helping of pepper
then goes in a good splash of tobasco sauce
then went in something that looked like a splash of Worcester sauce
next a whole lime is squeezed into the glass
Ice added
Half fill glass with Vodka
Fill second half with Tomato juice
stir

Crikey... it even put hairs on my chest!

Guesses for the drink name? (you will have heard of it, but probably never tried it)

Im a JagerBomb fan these days!!! Amaretto and Coke is also a good one!! two simple ones to make, but very nice!

I was in LA a few weeks back, in addition to the tumblers of tequilla the bar was serving! One of the guys made me drink what they call an 'Irish Car Bomb' (I belive it has a more PC name over here...)

Pint of Guiness
Shot glass (Well tumbler!) with Jamesons and Baileys

- Drink enough of the guiness so that you can drop the shot glass (tumbler) in.
DOWN IT!

Then wake up the next morning... wonder how you got home... find the car keys in your hand and find the hire car reversed parked into a space perfectly with not a sratch on it!

(I am not proud of the later part of that story!)

I think we've added one more ingredient to that, half pint of beer. We call it 'Dr Pepper'

Absolutely. But we call it "Dirty Doctor Pepper"

yup... indeed it was.

It was like drinking cold spicy tomato soup! I would hate to see the state of the big white telephone to god if you got pissed on them!

We normally drink them last thing on a night. Really does help the hangover the next day.

If your too drunk to remember to have one last thing, go for one first thing in the morning with your fry up!

what mix do you use? Do you keep a fresh lime in stock?

Always have fresh lime in for my Morgans Spiced.

That's another nice drink, Morgans Spiced with Ginger Ale, or Coke with a slice of lime.

msDG, the drink you are on about is a Cesar.
In Canada it's normally made with Clamato juice rather than Tomato juice but the effect is pretty much the same.

They also put a stick of celery in to stir wit with.
I know what you mean that it puts hairs on your chest!!!

The one thing I will say about it though, if you need a hangover cure. There it is!!
It's amazing!

My Dad makes me drinks like this everytime I'm out in Canada but of all of them the Cesar is definately the hardest to drink!

Vodka (2-3 shots)
Kahluha/Tia Maria (equal to Vodka)
A dribble of milk or cream, stir and sip away.
