lmao eBay typo costs a seller $500,000+

How about this for a screw up?

    Original auction
The guy spelt the name wrong Allsop's rather than Allsopp's The result was 2 bidders and a winning bid of $304.00

The buyer then relisted the item with correct spellings and the same item sold for $503,300.00
    Link to the 2nd auction

It just goes to show if you know what your selling you can make a fortune the original seller didn't have a clue.

never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups!

2 separate sellers so he did honour it then the winner sold it for the larger amount. Some people who happen to reside in arctic conditions are just too desperate for a brew!

Still him turning down genuine 6 figure bids sounds a bit weird, not like itsm uch effort for over $100k
