went to a funeral of a friends mum last year and her song as she went to be cremated was 'wheels on the bus' (no joke) by her request. Also only bright colours were allowed to be worn

I have written into my Will that Ice Ice Baby - Vanilla Ice is to be sung with song sheets for the Lyrics. (honestly im not kidding)

Not that I even like the song, just I feel that when people are there trying not to look stupid singing it they'll think "that stupid fucker"

I went to a work mates funeral earlier this year. As he was on the conveyor belt into the flaming pit ;-p we were all singing along to...'Always look on the bright side of life...'

He always was a silly sod - made me smile.

When I go I want 'Down in A Hole' by Alice In Chains.

Its pretty much the perfect song for the occasion. I want to be cremated so the irony isnt lost on me either.

We had a funeral on Christmas eve and, as if it wasn't sad enough, they played bloody James Blunt at the end. Apart from that, the guy loved his music and would be turning in his coffin if he'd heard that!

Honestly, there's nothing worse than sticking something to pull at folks heart strings it just makes things worse. I've actually been thinking about this for the past few days and I'm glad I've seen this thread - Bright Side of Life is absolutely perfect! It's going in my will.

    Cheers!
