...a Sega Rally Championship arcade machine. the ones you used to find in the amusements. The one with the GT-four and the Lancia Delta racing through the mountains, forest and lakeside etc.

I have looked everywhere and cannot seem to find one.

Does anyone know where i could get an old one from, i know they are huge, but that aint a problem (i'll fit it in my flat somehow)

A few years ago I tried to buy a 2 seater Daytona without success. The only arcade games I could find were crap ones you'd never want. I imagine there must be warehouses full of these things doing nothing.

DAAAAAAAAYYYTONAAAAAAAAAA. Your right there has got to be a shed load of these machines stocked up somewhere. With me working in the waste industry, i have never seen any arcade machines being thrown out, just a few crappy old slot machines.

Think we have a mission my friend.

Have you tried contacting arcade park owners or the manufacturers? They may be able to point you in the right direction. I assume there's nowt on eBay?

contact the companies that hire them out to bowling alleys etc. you will find their number on a sticker on the machine

Found www.libertygames.co.uk 5k for sega rally and 5.5k for Daytona, gotta be cheaper machines out there.

Patience. These things regularly turn up on ebay... and they tend to be cheap because they are soooo big.

Dunno how handy you are with a screw driver... but you could easily build your own.

you could then either get two dirt cheap Sega Saturns, with two saturn wheels and two copies of sega rally (but I dunno if the saturn had console to console link?) oh and use two old big ass 4:3 TV's as replacement screens

or

the same idea using two old school PC's... with big ass CRT monitors that no-one wants+ force feedback steering wheels.

or if you are flush with cash...

the same idea with two modern PC's or two xbox 360s and the new sega rally game?


I much prefer making something myself.... if only I had the room!

I saw one go chaep on ebay a few months ago, like dg says they are massive and few people can fit them in there house or even get it through the front door..
