In reality (doh!) you would have to spend a shed load more cash making it useful. It's an over 50 year old abandoned place and it''s gonna need some clearing up!

i was thinking the same, 1.5 mill is nothing to an investor but the amount of cash needed to make it useful would be astronomical. Imaging the safety checks it would need if you wanted to have the public pay to visit or explore it. I could only see it selling to a movie studio to use as a set.
It seems crazy they wont give tours or even show photos of the interior, surely noone will bid on those terms.
