I'm no fan of Vista, removed it from my work PC after opnly a week. But my 64bit version here at home is ok. Few niggles but nothing worrying. I still wouldn't recommend it to anybody yet over XP but I don't think it's the total mess it sometimes appears to be.
Unfortunately plenty of people, me included are in a position to contradict you! My computer is fast becoming a "media center", in fact as soon as I can organise it that's all it will be doing, supplying my 360 with media from a cupboard in my studio. My MacBook will take over until I can get an iMac! I've been firmly PC and anti Mac since about 1995 but not any more!
DAHWAN
you have taken 2 threads and LOTS of advice to get, it seems, nowhere. In your previous thread I,and someone else if I remember rightly, suggested memtest as an option before re-install but you didn't do it, you are still having problems after reinstall and the problems started AFTER installing memory?! therefore.. .. . . ...?
I didn't supply links to memtest because I don't have one but I'm fairly sure GOOGLE then your favourite software supplier *cough* will solve that one. At least if it's ruled out you can look to hard drive etc.
You are causing yourself stress and worry and people will only be helpful for just so long before they start to take the piss, it's human nature. I hope you've sorted it out but there really is no point in repeating yourself through two threads in as many days!

True. It's a bit of a pisser, however it's only a right click on the mouse over the program's icon.
Cool it guys.
