Finally got my first Tattoo (pics included)

Been months in the pipeline and the design changed on numerous occasions.

In the end I went back to my initial design which was my Daughters name in Elvish writing.

After everyone telling me what it was like getting one done, I was glad that it was nothing like it. I was told all sorts of horror stories about how much it hurts, but to be honest I was only uncomfortable twice and that was only for about 5 seconds at a time.

I am happy with the outcome,

Still, writing does look nice, and at £30 it was good value. Like Bert said though make sure you take care of it, whatever advice your tattoo artist gave you, make sure you follow it.

Lass I work with husbands got loads of tattoo's and his mate did them (30 years experience).

He has done out his garage and turned it into a studio, which is in Gateshead. Sounds a bit weird, but it is really clean and he has got hundreds/thousands of designs on walls and a computer.

Thats the best way to get them mate, they have no overheads so can charge a fraction of the cost. Just6 have to make sure they are good artists, which he seems to be. I may call on you for the addy mate, if i can talk my wife into subsidizing a full back piece.

that is a nice piece m8 and well done on the price, although i would normally tell others to get the best artist rather than the cheapest price cos you do normally get what you pay for although by the sound of it you lucked out and got a decent one

Yep he's got an old washing up bowl, an outside tap and some tesco value washing up liquid (just to be on the safe side!)
