the screen on my plasma tv keeps fading then the tv knocks of

i dont know if this is the right place or not

i think my plasma tv has just died. i was watching eastenders with the missus then all of a sudden the screen just fadded then knocked off. every time i turn the telly on its just a faded screen stays like that for aboout 5 seconds then it knocks of agian ive tried turning it on a couple of times know and still the same any suggestions or is it daffy ducked

well sorted some sort of plate was dodgy in the back of it cosst me 200 quid to fix and i sold it on for 700 quid and i put the rest of the cabbage til a 50 inch samsung full hd lcd so that was me happy
