2002 e46 BMW

Guys,

I have a 2002 e46 3 series BMW (I know its twatty but it was cheap) I have had it 4 years now.

It has a 6 cd autochanger in the boot, which until now has been faultless..

But it has recently started jumping then stalling altogether and then starts saying that there are no CD's in the Cassette...

This is with originals and cd-r's..

Should I try and fix it myself.. if so any tips.. or should I just replace it with one from e-bay..

By the way.. I am a tight yorkshireman.. so I really am looking for a cheap option!

Sounds like the lazers shagged to me m8, have you tried a cd cleaner in it?
It would probably cheaper to get a 2nd hand one then get it repaired, but if you want it looking at I can put you in touch with someone local whose very good.

Can you PM me they guys contact details.. I only know of a couple of places in leeds to take it.. one is on york road, the other is in swillington...
