Well it wasn't long really was it? LOL!

1. If you have bought a new 1.0.2 VIRGIN phone: you can UNLOCK it with the new SIM. Upgrade to 1.1.1, Jailbreak using http://iphone.fiveforty.net/wiki/in...Jailbreak_1.1.1, Activate with iAsign http://iphone.fiveforty.net/wiki/in.../Activate_1.1.1, Unlock with anySIM v1.1.1 http://conceitedsoftware.com/iphone/anySIM-1.1.zip

2. if you have bought a new 1.1.1 VIRGIN phone: you can UNLOCK it with the new anySIM. 3. If you have bought a 1.0.2 phone, unlocked it with anySIM or iUnlock and NOT IPSF and then upgraded to 1.1.1: you CANNOT UNLOCK it with the new anySIM. Restoring the baseband using the guides floating around does NOT restore the damaged NVRAM from the old iUnlock or anySIM method. You will need to wait for the ;true virginizer; from the dev team.

By VIRGIN it means brand new, never used on a network, never unlocked before, out of the box kinda thing. Not on the Virgin GSM Network!

I have not personally tested this, as I never upgraded the firmware in the first place...

YAY!
