Second best DJ on Radio 1, first being Scott Mills (I like the funny ones) On a similar note, is it just me who fucking hates Edith Bowman and wonders how the hell she managed to get her own show?????? Now she seems to be a film critic going to screenings when the critic bloke (that camnp as you like one) was off sick

Moyles used to be alot better, is still ok. Dom and Dave carry the show a little. Rachel bugs the hell out of me although she seems to be more in the background now, replaced by Aled who is equally annoying.

Agreed about Bowman she is shiiite always has been whoever gave her the afternoon slot needs looking at and why they haven't just shooed her away instead of putting her on Sarutdays is anyones guess! Also whenever you see her on TV she looks like she needs a wash scruffy cow.....

Love the breakfast show, (Dom is the funniest! ) But when chris and team is on holiday i switch to anything other than twat face scott mills.

I liked moyles but he has lost his touch a little lately and I have found myself switching to radio 2 with Chris Evans.

The worst think about Moyles's show is Aled, I cant fucking stand the music he seems to make them play. fucking shite! I know a lot of it is off playlist but Aled seems to be influencing what else is played.

Moyles should pass the reins to someone new as long as its not scott mills who i cannot stand to listen too. Sara cox has been better recently in the evening, far better than mills.

Remember the Radio 1 mandate is the 15-29 demographic. Aled is on the R1 playlist selection group as his tastes actively reflect that.

Personally I like Chris Moyles. I never used to listen to the radio but he has made me an avid listener. Being in my age group his humour (and his constant 80's references) appeals to me. Also, and I know this will sound odd, but for some reason I think of him as Peter Griffin personified. However he won't be holding the breafast reigns for much longer, that much is a given. Times and tastes are changing and soon he'll be "too old" for primetime R1. He knows it himself too and that's why he's tried several times to break into TV. But it's safe to say that when Chris Moyles leaves breakfast radio, that will be the day I will say goodbye to Radio 1 and hello to my iPod again.

I was forced to listen to Radio 1 the other morning driving to a remote customers site as there was no other radio reception in the area and all he did was insult his listeners. When he wasn't doing that he was playing some sampled noise over and over and over and over thinking it was hilarious (It wasn't I assure you).

Always hated the guy to be honest. He should be humanely destroyed at this point and let someone else take over the reigns. There are plenty of other really good DJs on R1.

i have to admit, lately i have found myself tuning my walkman to his show in the mornings, I made a post in here saying i hated the fat cunt, and after seeing him on his tv show i did, but with his team, and often on his own he can he very funny, if, a little puerile but that's not always a bad thing, in small doses. He had me chuckling with his drum and bass jokes this morning, and that's coming from someone who's been listening to drum n bass for about 15 years

Chris Moyles mauled by Radio 1 stand-in Scott Mills

Motormouth DJ Chris Moyles was left squirming after his stand-in beat him to radio’s top prize last night.


The self-styled saviour of Radio 1 lost out to holiday cover Scott Mills in the music radio personality of the year prize.And the glitzy night got worse for Moyles, 36, as his breakfast show failed to muster a mention at the Sony Radio Academy Awards.



As if losing out to Capital FM’s Johnny Vaughan and Lisa Snowdon as best entertainment show was not bad enough, Moyles’ famed ego took blow after blow as colleagues at Radio 1 stepped up to accept awards.
Zane Lowe was among them as he stormed to take home the prize for the best specialist music programme over Jools Holland’s BBC Radio 2 Live Music show.
Lowe then picked up his second for the night, pipping Radio 2’s Mark Lamarr to the music broadcaster of the year prize.
It felt like Britpop all over again inside London’s Grosvenor House hotel after Absolute Radio bagged the gold prize for the best live event coverage of Blur’s comeback, before Pulp singer Jarvis Cocker found himself on the winner’s podium, too.
Cocker was hailed the Sony DAB rising star for his BBC6 music show.
The station of the year prize went to BBC Radio 5 live, while breakfast show of the year was won by Radio 4’s heavyweight Today programme

Yeah I'd agree with that. With Chappers & Laura it was funny. But That Becky bird winds me up, why she feels the need to talk as if she's a female version on Mills annoys the hell out of me. Pus she's rough as old arseholes.
