Driving on the motorway with the window down.
Whats this all about? You always see people on the motorway doing 70mph+ with their window down.
Try it and you get blasted with noise and air, wind the window back up and you can travel in comfort.
Why have the window down?? Freaks!
Just wondering if we have any window down motorway drivers on here and if so - WTF?

I do when I am travelling back from 5 a side. Sweating like a fat bitch in heat, and the in car blowers don't do nowt. So the windows down doing 70 has to be done.

I haven't done it personally but it does seem strange seeing people with there window all the way down going 70-80mph.

What's wrong with that then? If it's sunny I'm always blasting around at 70+ roof down. Ok it messes up my hair, but I can live with that

I love having me windows down...it shows that am a true scotsman and very brave indeed.
But in all honesty, I am a cunt and I love to drive with my window down.

I don't see the problem with windows down in the first place tam, I always have it down. It's air con that's for pussy's.

I do this all the time (and I've got dual zone climate control). You can't beat Hurtling down the motorway with the windows down, music on max .... singing your heart out.

i drive with window on the m6 especially if i have dropped my guts. also do it to stay awake if i am getting tired. after a bit of the window down im right as reign.

only thing that puts me off putting the windows right down on the motorway is the banging from the wind and echos from the central reservation.
but round here theres loads of country roads and blasting along those with windows down is much more fun and less noisey... when its remotely sunny and warm of course.
