well im glad that this looks the bollox as last season was boring as fuck and explained nothing...

if this season is tied into the upcoming 24 movie, it should make for interesting viewing. might not be mind you as the movie isnt scheduled till 09.

the plot looks like a bit of a rip-off though. die hard 4 anyone?

The last season spiralled into mediocrity after around six or seven episodes and to be fair the previous two series weren't up to much either really. I'm fairly confident that the show has 'jumped the shark' to be honest. It's repetitive and tedious and horribly formulaic. There really needs to be a fundamental change in approach in this season as opposed to just more of the same with different baddies.

Yes, i agree the last one was shite, but i cant see how they can do another, no matter how good this looks. The preview for the last one looked good, but i was dwindling towards the end.

I loved the first few seasons of 24,then it went a bit crap in 3 & 4. 5 was good, but boring in the middle. I thought day 6 was a load of crap, it just all went a bit stupid for me after about 5 episodes and I gave up. I only finished watching them a few weeks ago because I had them for a mate.

Hopefully will this (kind of) revamp it will pick up again, although I'm already thinking what the fuck are they doing having Tony back as a bad guy (or in what looks to be a bad guy role).

Theres no way that could be Tony, he died in Jacks arms in CTU after getting stabbed in the chest. The only thing I can think of is that this new "Tony" would be his evil twin brother which sounds like a lame storyline but what other explanation could there be?

after being a massive fan of 24, last season was really terrible for me. after a good first few eps, it died so quickly, in fact, i've not finished watching it. here's hoping that it can only get better!

In 100% agreement with that, heres hoping season 7 delivers. If it doesnt and the viewing figures are poor I'll bet that season 7 will be the last one.
