80's Fancy Dress

Ive seen that fancy dress has been posted a few times, but i need help in thinking of ideas for a 80's themed fancy dress, this saturday!!

Ideally i need something comical and easy to get together!! Anyone got any ideas?
Also the party is being held at an aussies house, so plenty of aussies there, so my outfit has to be something they recognise as well.

A-team, Knightrider I cant think of anyone else! Anyone know if 'Where's Wally' was out in the 80's?? or was that 90's?

My first guess, ba from a team. Get a load of crappy chains and spray them gold, get a top and jeans like him and ya done. Dead easy and very recognisable.

You could go as the stereotypical 80's rocker - big hair, tight jeans, white boots. Sure you'd look lovely

I had a fancy dress at the weekend (went as Buzz Lightyear, as the theme was superheroes) - and a friend went as Mumrah, but we were also joined by Dangermouse - both would be excellent options.
