    Default Interference

I have just got a new 32" LCD with built in freeview, it is my first digital tv and on some of the channels e.g BBC2 and 3 get pixilated and juddery. Do i need a booster box?

    Cheers

Its almost definitely a signal problem mate.

Pop your postcode in here and see what pops up.

    http://www.freeview.co.uk/availability

If thats OK then you probably need a new/ better aerial.

    Thank you.

I checked the postcode thingy and it says I can get all channels. So sounds like I need a new aerial then? That doesn't sound cheap?! What do I ask for?

Sorry if I sound a bit thick!

Yeah try a booster, I had to get one myself £14.99 from Comet.

Remember standard definition TV won't look to great anyway on an LCD TV.

Just call a few ariel fitters. I need to get one myself, my neighbour just had some new ariel fitted, he can run 7 TV's without a booster, £150 Incl the fitting. I'm sure cheaper options are out there, you just might have to climb on your roof!

Yeah as DJAd states if the coverage is OK try a booster first.

You can get one from Argos and take it back if it doesnt improve it, after that its then down to either a realignment/ new aerial.
