    Help Cant transfer downloaded files from SD to Wii memory?

    Ive paid for and downloaded the internet browser for the Wii but when i try to transfer it to my mates wii it says cannot copy to this wii console?

    Is it possible to stop this protection?

    Nope... Downloads are only available for the console/user.

    Hopefully one day the copy protection will be cracked but I can see it will be a long long time.

    What happens if you take back a faulty wii and transfer some games to sd can i put these onto my new wii?

    When you purchase anything from the Wii Mall they get downloaded and signed to that Wii. You can actually download the VC games from the internet - do a search and you will find the links that have been captured by using packet sniffers. You can then download the files to your PC however they are useless without being signed to your Wii. What is needed is a way to "fake" the activation/signing but I doubt there's much research going into it.
