Now on Live I've lost my Halo Gamesave - help please?

Right, I've been playing Halo3 for the past couple of weeks, and yesterday I signed up and went on live for the first time (just downloaded some demos). I had to change my Gamertag because my original profile name was already in use. Now when I play Halo3, it only gives me the option to start a new game, and doesn't pick up my game save. My achievements are still listed, and I can see the game save on the hard disk, it even says my new Gamertag is the owner, but when I load Halo, it doesn't give me the option to Continue, but just start a new game. Any ideas? I reall don't want to have to start again!

Did you delete your original profile?

You could have just had another profile for the xbox live gold account on the 360. Not sure if deleting the profile deletes all the saves with it.

Go to campaign, and just select the level's you haven't done. The ones you have finished will have the symbol next to them to show what difficulty they were finished on.

Didn't delete the old profile. Just connected up to Live and it said the GamerTag was already in use, so I just renamed it, that was it.

DJAd - OK, will have to try it, but still think its pretty poor. I can see the gamesave so how can I associate it with my GamerTag?
