I was unfortunate to be asked to get hold of a batch of wii's the other week 5 in total
and the best I could find was 240 each or pre modded ones for around 270-280.

Still havnt bought them yet still waiting to see if my m8 is keen on them prices

Was reading on GameCentral this morning that someone had seen one second hand for £550 in a Birmingham shop. Was dubious about it at first but this kinda makes you think he could be telling the truth.

Well I must admit I sold a UK one that was meant for my birthday for £336 delivered on ebay, I put it up for £150 no reserve. Luckily enough I got one from amazon.de for myself soon after.

Saw a thing in the paper today saying Dixons put 600 Wii's on their website yesterday afternoon and got over a thousand hits per hour once word spread. They had 10,000 people register for an email alert if they get more.

Sad fuckers who pay more than the going rate. They aren't even worth it!!! (IMO)

Well I got one this morning, I screwed up I had heard asda were getting them so I went up to asda, 12:30 they hadnt had their delivery so I walked round to game accross the road and the guy in front of me bought their last one. I have the numbers for the local game shops in my phone so I phoned bury and they had them and sold out so I phoned one of the 2 bolton stores and they reserved me one. unfortunatly I said I would be there in 20 minutes but they would have held it for a few hours so I went for that.

Asda got their delivery and they had gone by the time I got back so I should have had 2 but failed.

I just got a call from my sister who is in Argos close to that asda and they are expecting some in by the end of the week so not many days left on that one. I have registered on their website sent the item number 5683257 then a space and the store number (without the first 0) to 61201 a few more text messages later and they will send you a text when they come in and you just reply to the text with reserve and they will hold it for 24 hours.

I hope to get another.

Don't quote me on it mate but I'm not sure if Argos will text you about them in stock. I have heard that they are not putting them up on the site for reservation and the in-store machines as well as telephone service are not being updated. Need to just go in and ask at cashier.

Like I said that is from what I have heard (and experienced on the text/phone/online front).
