I've come home at lunch to download it lol

I'm guessing its free because there is a keygen included in the rar. Gota download the app and maps then shoot back to work to try and install.

Right, i've installed it and copied the SW.unl over to the memory card and all seems OK, i've not been asked to unlock it or anything. So onto the maps...

I've got the .IMG file, do I just copy this over to the memory card and thats it? Does the keygen that came with the install work on the UK maps as the txt file says it wont?

Put the IMG file in the root of your Garmin folder along with the two edited text files that you have to make as per the guide

What do you do with these .gpx files? I've put them in the Garmin/gpx folder (kinda obvious but might not be right).

Mine used to but I updated the firmware a couple of months ago and its been much better. Also you need to have the slider open and it picks up a signal best if you tilt it 45 degrees.

Hmm after typing *#0000# mine shows v10.0.021 but on the website latest is :Nokia N95 8GB Software version 11.0.026 released - 22 November 2007

Using the nokia software updater it dont want to update yet

Only got it a day or so ago so its all new to me at the min.

Have you downloaded the lastest Nokia software? I had to download a new version to update mine.

This is stupid. My journey home from work takes 20 minutes, and in that time the phone was unable to get a lock on enough satellites to work out a route home.

I am on fw ver: 12.0.013

somethings not right there Clubber, mine locks on within minutes FW 20.0.015, maybe thats why

If I update using NSU, will I lose anything on the phone?

I backed up my contacts and updated to the latest fw. Doesn't seem to have made much of a difference, seems pot luck as to if and when you get a lock onto the satellites.
