    Question FED UP WITH 3 OTHER OPTIONS ?

    As title says Im pissed off with 3 and Indian call centers what other cheap options are available ?

    I've been with 3 since pretty much the beginning but Im totally pissed off with their customer service where loyalty seems to count for nothing.

    I've always been on the 500 any time minutes plan and paying 25 a month.

    I could do with 3 hundred minutes to be honest.

    I also hate 18 month contracts and having to barter with someone in India every time it comes to renewel.

    ideally I'd like to be paying about £15 a month and no Indian call centers .

    Sadly I do believe you get what you pay for, I have been with most of the cheaper
    providers and now Ive decided to go back with Vodaphone ..yes more expensive
    but they are far more professional in terms of customer service IMO.

    to be honest mate i think you've been unlucky, im on 15 quid a month 300 mins 1000 texts + internet + mms + video with three and cant fault them.

    Ive dealt with the call centre twice and while they can be a little difficult to communicate with, have never been anything other than perfect.

    From what mates are saying about voda and orange i wouldnt touch them and with o2 they screw you big time as soon as you go over your allowances.

    I know the contracts arent all that at the moment but i have heard there may be some sweeteners coming on 1/12 so wait a few days.

    I can quite confidently say i wont be moving from three (my 18 months is up in 1 month)

    ive got the same deal as maltloaf. for £15 im happy with it. also got a n73 (12 month contract) with that which wasnt bad. the thing with 3 is most people are just call center staff, they dont have a clue about the actual products, ive phoned up before when i know more about their services then they do. if you get through to someone who understands you then its fine and havnt had any major problems in 3 years ive been with them.

    you shouldnt be paying £25 they would definatly come down on that price. ask them about a loyalty discount.

    if you can get through to glasgow to talk about retentions they should offer decent deals.

    Iv got 2 contracts with three 1 500mins 75 text for 20 squids
    iv got another contract that started at 25 for 1200 mins 600 txt for 9 months
    then 50 squids for 600 and 300 text for other 9 months
    after about 12 moths i call india to see if i can get "a better dealing than my curent dealings" and i get 500/100txt for 30
    then the indian then tells me i need to pay 25 to change or extend the contract 6 months, So im thinking why should i pay 25 when im not intending to cancel after the 18 months anyway, and agree to extend the contract.
    so the upshot being they wouldent give me a upgrade at 18 months
    this was never explained to me or i would have given them the 25
    iv been on to the call center and they refuse to budge .
    can they legaly hold me to a contract they say i agreed to on the phone ?
    fucers iv had about 5 contracts with them other the years aswell
    does anyone know how to get through to glasgow ?

    I hate the foreign call canter syndrome too, I'm currently getting the runaround from Xbox repair!! I have had to use T-Mobile Customer Services a few times this year and have been with them for three years, their call center has always been excellent and in the UK. Their data deals are great too.

    they some times get fook up too, i went back to 3 by my missus recommendation, and they said each would get £30 credit after 2 months , i got mine on time and for her we called 4 times to claim 30 quid credit without knowing each time they credit her account 30 pounds and now she is in 120 quid credit lol

    I am not too bad as I can baffle them with technical yerms. I have had a few close to tears and one ot 2 have hung up on me, lol.

    But in all honesty I have been with them from day one and not really had major problems.

    But I must admit, they are going down the same lines as the other networks as you cannot seem to get any better deals off them over the phone when it comes to upgrading. Sometime you get a better deal if you can call into the shops.

    ive just been in for an upgrade, was scared they would try to move me onto one of the new crappy plans but i got a n95 free on a 12 month deal (was expecting at least 18 months) on my old plan and they threw in a 2GB sandisk card too. well happy

    I was only in month 15 of 18 too
