New R4DS design

Just had another 2 turn up from dealextreme that are for Christmas pressies.

The design of the cartridges are slightly different (looks and feels cheaper).

The micro SD slot is no longer spring loaded and where the pcb is it no longer has the plastic ridges to guide it into the DS.

If the camera on my phone was better at macro shots I'd post a pic but unfortunately it's shite and you can't tell the difference between the two in the pics.

Been like this for a little while now. Apparently people kept managing to break the spring loading mechanism so they've done away with that.

Mine are the same, I did read they'd removed the spring loading mech. Initially a little care was needed to make sure I put the mSD card in the right way up but now it's not a problem - one less thing to break I guess.
