and ive heard if i go to the shop i can pay £269 for one and not take a contract out there and then, is this true ?

sure can i did it last week at carphone w/house had it hacktivated with a o2 payg sim card in an hour!! every thing works just tryin to get my wap settings sorted

Am I right in thinking that WAP and GPRS settings are working fine if using a contract sim?
I have been on contract for ages and expecting an iphone for xmas...... got the hack instructions and software ready and waiting
