Even more Frosty pics

I went back to Entwistle Res today for a walk and took the camera this time instead of using my phone. The pics on the cam never seem to look as good on the PC than on the camera. Anyhow heres a few of the highlights (or low lights depends if you like them or not lol)

This was kinda weird, the other frosty pics all have flowers on and the first bench we got too had 3 roses on

I took another one with the flash on, i think I prefer the first one but the Mrs likes the one with the flash better.

A shoe print in the ice

Some ice in the water

Some cool looking ripples coming from a pipe entering the res

I liked the reflections in this pic, i wanted to get some more at the other side of the res but it was too windy.

Thats enough now i won't bore you with the rest.

Comments good or bad welcome its always good to get some tips

I'm going to get a SLR next year its doing my head in not having a decent camera.

I'm going to install Photoshop on my Laptop so I can start cropping pictures and see what difference it can make.

Yeah, 2,3, and 6 are all really good shots in their own right.

2- Great focus and colouring
3 - Somehow it works, kept my interest.
6 - Lovely calm shot. Good comp as well to draw you into the shot.

Either rose number 2, or the reflections one, except that it is a little dark it seems.

Is there anything I could have done to make the reflection pic less dark? I've only got a finepix cam and not an SLR so the options are limited. What would increasing the ISO do to that pic?
