Broken button on Nokia 6230i

Hiya

I dropped my phone yesterday and since then have had trouble with the buttons. It was fine to start with, then the buttons wouldn't work, which happened a few times, but I found that turning it off and on again or taking the battery out and putting it in again sorted that. However, the left selection button then stopped working. This wouldn't be the end of the world, but it's the only button with which I can delete texts and have no space for new messages, so now can't receive texts! The phone's old, not within warranty or anything but perfect other than this one button! Anyone able to help?

First post hannannah. Don't think you will get much but have you treid flipping the cover off and having a look round the button? I had one of these a few years back and dropped it loads but it never failed me till the little un dropped it in a glass of water.

Lol, how did you manage to drop it in a glass of water?! I took the cover of and had a go pressing the button but to no avail alas and alack, I shall have to get it repaired!
