well after sending my 360 back to microsoft for 3rlod i recieved it back today repaired
now this is the thing they sent a reply letter back saying they had fixed it and found the drive and motherboard needed changing
so there goes my flashed drive but hey its working
from what i can gather its a philips drive in there now ( can this drive be flashed ) and after the excitment i thought ok let me see if i have been banned . touch wood i havent well not yet anyway .

yeah im playing the originals now im sure its a matter of time before they can be done might just have to search out some cheap originals

weren't the philips drive only in a tiny amount of consoles on the release date??

and therefore the firmware has never been looked at for any hacking etc??

could be worth flogging and getting another if that is the case mate.

Philips-Liteon-BenQ is the same yep.. VAD6038, mine is badged Philips as well.. no prob flashing these.

no it wasnt banned it was flashed with i-xtreme but it wasnt me that flashed it so i couldnt flash it back before sending it to ms
anyway they repaired it and took the drive out saying it was faulty and replaced it with what i think is a phillips drive well the pics on the net make me think that it is one


i may have to get another ione as i have been online with this machine to check if i was banned and im pretty sure that they will notice if i flash this drive and then go back online again as the last time i flashed the drive the 360 had never been online before so no changes reported ?? just a thought
