    Default ebay help

I listed a nokia 6233 and then 3 guys battled it out on the bidding.

One of them went right to £1000, then one to £1020 and a final bidder to £2049.

What do I do about these 3 guys, blatantly trying it on? I can't give a second chance offer as these were the only 3 bidders

Here is the item number so you can see what I mean 280184531045

Nothing you can do except maybe ask ebay to drop your fees and re-advertise it
What was the maximum bid from the first one?
    If at first you don't succeed.....redefine success. . . .

All of the bidders went £1000 and above, none of the bidders seemingly had a genuine interest, and a friend put a bid in to start the ball rolling for me as it was one of the first items I'd ever tried to sell

ooops, I wouldn't mention that to ebay, however pure your intentions thats called shill bidding and not allowed.
You can enter and opening bid of your own when you set up the auction to encourage bidders.

What you can do it report a non paying buyer to ebay which will get your fees back, then re-list the item but change your settings not to allow oversees bidders (i assume these were oversees bidders??) and also change it so that you dont accept bids from members with less then +3 feedback. Usually gets rid of these cocks
    All sweeping statements are wrong.

cheers for the responses, wont mention the shill bid...I'll try and report them though and see what happens, although, can I report all 3 of the bad bidders or just the winning bid - as it seems the winner is the only one I can report via unpaid item dispute

yeah just the first one for the dispute thing - you should be able to contact ebay as well and try an report the others just not through your actual item page

When you report an unpaid item ebay gives them x time to respond, in which time if they don't respond you MUST close the dispute saying no solution has been met and only then will you get your FVF back. They make it obscure to get your FVF back, it's not automatic like it should be.
