Had mine done last weekend, had a 3hr wait as only 1 stall was doing them while you wait, the rest were takin em away and bringing back the next week.

Most said £80-£100, managed to get mine done for £70 (should of been £90) with a bit of fast talking and taking advantage of a 3hr wait

I wouldn`t recommend Midland Consoles at all, they are cunts (imo).
Ages ago I took an xbox1 to have an alladin fitted, came home and couldnt ftp, so opened it up and they had cellotaped the chip to the board, but not connected it, and just softmodded it - but charged me for a full chip install.
Took it back and they argued with me etc, but managed to get it sorted.
This time round when askin about the Wii they were all just full of attitude and looked at me like I was shit when I was askin questions...told him he could "fuck off" and carried on looking.

Mine was done by a guy in the 2nd hall (only one in there last week) and there is 2 asian guy son the stall just modding stuff, one speaks quite posh and is a real sound guy, the other looks a bit scruffy and older - I`d recommend them 200% but no idea what they called as they don`t have a sign up.

They will do it while you wait - he might have a black coat on...??

    Hope that helps!

depends if its d2c or not for a d2c chip when i have asked most have to send away to chip it or keep it for a few days and they charge about £80 for the earlier chipsets it cost about £40 and can be done while you wait

Yeah sorry, my bad - forgot to mention mine was a D2C and as above, other versions can be done for about £40.

Was gonna go myself today but with petrol, paying £4ish to get in and the thought of some fucker ripping me off just didnt do it for me so Im gonna leave it for few weeks till I hear some positive feedback. Plus £80-£100 seems steep to me.

Been bowlers a few times and theres quite a few modders in there, If Midland are the asian guys as you go in Bowlers then fuck them right off as they are tossers of the highest order.. No manners and just all about the cash changing hands..

Jesus is that how much they charge? I've never paid more than £15 each for 360 and Wii.

Lucky that a mate does 'em for me I suppose. Still, even at £70 after 2 games it has paid for itself

Nice one fella - yeah its expensive, but so is forking out £30 on something as shit as Brunswick Bowling

As for images mate, if they are .iso burn them with ImgBurn, if they are .wii you need to decrypt them first with GOD/WOD Unscrambler, then burn the .iso with ImgBurn.

Google for the tools, or if you struggle let me know and I`ll upload em somewhere for ya.

    Hope that helps!

edit: Daz - yeah that`s them, total cunts of the highest order!

Yeah, but look at it this way - you'd spend that on 3 Wii originals and this way within a few weeks you'll have approx. 30 backups in your collection

£100 doesn't sound so bad then, it all depends how you look at it.

I have no time for show chippers what so ever but you obviously fail to realise what's involved in chipping a d2c version, the job would take around an hour to hour and a half and take a high skill level their is also the cost of the chip, the cost of the stall to consider and always the chance they stuff the console and have to replace it.

Totally right in 1 sense buddy i have no clue whats involved in the modding, well other than pull it apart and solder some chip in there. Not that im going to even attempt it myself cos i solder like a blind person with parkinsons, but what do the chips cost any idea?
In 1 aspect its worth it when mentioned about buying originals and the savings etc, just the idea someone shafting me for £100 is rather annoying when you know you being robbed cos you have no choice to go elsewhere (not that i have ANYWHERE to go yet lol)
Is the D2c chip considerd the best at the moment then? and also when they are chipped can you play all region games? cos i seen something about if you play multi region ones they bricked or something.

I don't consider they are Robbing you at £100
    Chip £30 - £35
    Stall Rent - £100 (guestimate)
Time to do the job around 90 mins so I would guess they get around 6 a day done
    Risk of getting busted
    Risk of stuffing the console
    I'm bloody sure I wouldn't do it
