Attention Free calling from anywhere to anywhere

As of December 10 2007 because of a peek from all the holiday traffic and holiday calls they have limited a user daily limit of 30 minutes per 24 hour period per originating phone number.. but as long as you have internet access and your phone you are good to go.

You dont need a phone hooked into your computer, you dont need skype, or voip.

You simply type your own phone number, and your chosen number you want to call, and it will call you and you press 1 and the call is connected.

Im sure that after peek holiday traffic it will go back to unlimited 24 daily user limits.

and yes this can be used from Canada, United States, United Kingdom - and many other countries.

sorry if this has been posted before.. I never saw a thread.. and figure it is a great thing for people to use to wish there overseas friends and family a happy new year, and happy holiday season.

just checked.. wasnt sure if australia was on the list.. it is... quick question for anyone that uses it... right now it is too late for me to call people here and ask but anyone try to let us know if caller id shows up through it. and the quality was great for me a few months back... hope it is the same now. it uses skype, but allows us to use it via landline or mobile by having it call us and connect the call.. kindu like 3 way calling I guess.

    peace back at ya!

I have used it a couple times yesterday.. and I havent gotten anything yet.. but I would think that you wouldn't since it is also for landline phones.. so unless it is really sophisticated to figure out if your number is a cell or voip or landline, it should be clean. But this I am unsure of.. good point. I dont think it is an issue.

is this only for land lines, or can you enter your mobile number to ring another mobile?

as long as you are in one of the regions covered, they dont know the diff between landliine, mobile, satelite, voip, etc.. no restrictions excenpt the user limit per day right now

Just heard of another one just like it but with more countries - and better interface - let me know what you think

also got some cool things for your email sig

    http://www.jajah.com/

same concept except I think the other end may need to be a jajah registered member too. so click2voice is the fully free one

edit: ok I will be slowly using them all and registering with them to figure out all the catches and freebies.. for now I am concentrating on jajah.com because click2voice is temp down.. not the site, but the voip network.

with jajah you get a 5 minute free trial without registering your number. should you wish to try with a different initiating call number, just erase your cookies, and go back to the homepage and put your other landline or mobile phone there. and call amlost worldwide for 5 minutes - note if you hang up within a couple seconds it tracks the time by the minute not by the second.

I am registering now, so I will post a new post with what you can do with registered account - NOTE: for any registered accounts I tell you the features about - I will not sign up if they ask for a credit card or billing info - so be sure if I say something is free - it means that it is, since I wont even give them an option to bill me. also when your 5 minutes is up - you get disconnected - no warning
