was gonna get these and shove em behind my monitors in replacement of a lamp, but im fucked if i can find a uk based site i can buy these, or something similar.

tried buying off amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...5J8LR&v=glance

but when u go to pay it says they dont ship to the region or something, and they dont appear to have any similar products on the .co.uk site that i can see.

any help?

Couldn't you use cathodes or LED strips mate? Might require a little wiring job but not hard electronics at all to rig up.

For cathodes I use ebuyer.com but I bought some wicked lighting strips from dealextreme.com too.

um.. i didnt. the blue just photographed best lol

the LEDs can produce blue, red, purple, green, yellow, white etc etc. or can also set them to rotate through the colours one at a time, or very slowly change from colour to colour.
