Not been on the forum a while and have just been trawling through a few threads but not seen any mention of any NYE plans?

Anyone jettng off abroad? Fancy dress? Ridiculous-themed party?

Am off to an 80's fancy dress do but can't say who I'm going as just yet as a couple of other forum members will be there and the outfits are meant to be a 'surprise'

Off to Embankment to watch the fireworks over the Thames and the London Eye............. Looking pretty bloody forward to it actually, Free transport too which is nice of Ken!

Nothing special for me as i am on call (Am retained fireman), so just the one beer and loads of food. Very rock and roll I know, but hey someone's gotta do it and this year I drew the short straw... Might venture into the village later and get some photo's of the drunken revellers, but then again it's warm at home..

Didn't wanna do too much as I've been on it a bit too hard this year already, was well happy when I heard a very old mate's having a house party.

Then he flopped. Next plan was to head down to the drayton - it's an enourmous pub in west ealing, but I think my mates feel like that's not expensive enough so it looks like we're heading central to a club called canvas, that is, if we can get tickets.

This bloody "Flu" epidemic type thing seems to have knocked everyone for six.

We are havin a party (as we always do) and there are at least 3 couples cried off with the flu at the last minute. Light weights.

Either that or they don't like us. Woudln't blame em as im a complete cnut.

Wish my sister was in, she told me of loads pisstake costumes she's made for fa when getting roped into fancy dress things. Only one I can remember, she painted up a box and put a number on the front. When everyone asks her what the fuck she come as she tells them one of the boxes from deal or no deal.
