      PS3 How to Format an External Hard Drive to make it work with the PS3

      Easy guide attached. Use External HDD for xvids/videos/mp3 whatever dumping blu-ray across .. sweet ...

      Enjoy... Not my guide but it works as I have just formatted my external 120gig ..



      Update:- Once converted create following folders .. Note: Replace X with whatever drive letter your system assigns external HDD.

      Images: x:\PICTURE
      Music: x:\MUSIC
      Movies: x:\VIDEO
      PS1 and PS2 saved games: x:\PS3\EXPORT\PSV
      PS3 saved games: x:\PS3\SAVEDATA
      PS3 Firmware: x:\PS3\UPDATE
