I thought it would be an idea to see who’s got the dirtiest car with all this shity winter weather.

I’ll start:

I washed mine well hit it with the jetwash a few weeks ago it was too cold to go through everything on it. neither numberplate could be read it was that bad but its black so it didnt really show up that bad.

Everyone moaned they ended up with black fingers after opening the doors.

I'm not washing mine until I drive down to London and back. Just in case I get flashed by the speed camera's.

Someone told me they can read through the dirt but that sounds complete shit to me. Is it?

I watched a CSI the other night so not sure how "true" it is, but one of the cars had a film thing over his number plates. When viewed from any angle other than directly behind, the film refracts the light and blurs the plate so cameras above or at side of road cant read it.

Like I say, probs illegal if it is real...

I think the law used to prohibit the use of computer jiggery pokery to enhance un readable number plates but they now allow it so the chances of any film/spray working are slim.

I've been pulled over before for having dirty plates so I'd rather just keep them clean than annoy and traffic cops. You never know what they will find wrong with your car if they are have a shite day!

Mine gets that dirty I can't see out the side window after a couple of months. Its parked on themain road and the gritters cover it every night the fookers!
