I did but the transparent image for whatever reason, wasn't as sharp an image and there was no space at the top of it... so it virtually touched the top of my page and I wanted it down slightly from the top, so I just put the original with the dark border back on again, as overall I think it looks better. The background isn't noticeable on my pc or my work pc... unless I look really closely at it.
