Are nintendo ever going to do thier own?

I noticed the other day Game are doing replacement parts for the Wii, including the snensor bar.

Are nintendo going to bring out thier own branded stuff? I do not need another sensor bar, but as a sad git, i want a nintendop branded docking controller station and the ability to by nintendo replacement bits.

I dont care, i like continuity. I woudl expect one manufacture to have picked up the fact the plugs in the back of the Wii are all based on the shape of the Wii and woudl liek to see other accesories to match.

Nintendo stuff with logo. I am anal liek that and gutted i have not way of wasting my money and supporting them further although at the same time i thin kit is a good move to get it more affordabel for the masses.

i dont think Nintendo do many peripherals now, they did loads on the nes but i cant remember any for the snes or onwards.

Id pay more for a Nintendo official charging station as the majority on the market now are utter shite but I guess by making stuff like that they are kinda admitting the standard ones are somehow lacking.

I think a lot of Nes ones were just 3rd party licensed ones.

Looks like Game is your only option currently. There used ot be a clause (i thought) mentioning the use of third parter powered supply for Nes and Snes upwards etc woudl invalidate your warrenty (as always not that they woudl ever now)

Happy with third party branded and more importantly liscensed. Nintnedo always used to have quite a strickt hand on this. I remember have a Turbo Jopuystick for the Snes, this was made by someone else (name escapes me) no super advatage, this was awersome and hard wearing! Endorsed as well.

If nintendo did their own charging station then more thought might go into it , I've just set mine (the kids) up today and to charge the batteries you have to take the rubber grip off and the batteries only charge when th wii is on , but when the wii is on , I want to be using the controllers .... what a wank product .... good job the missus boughyt it and not me

I heard about the ones that were melting the remotes what make was that so i know what to avoid as i'm thinking of getting a charging bay
And is will the station really not charge when the wii is on standby because i checked my mouse on the wii and that can charge when its on standby so the usbs are still giving out power

Face , on my charging station it has blue leds , when th wii is switched off you can't switch on the leds so I assume there is no power to the batteries either. , its made by 4gamers ..... whats this about melting remotes ???

the only thing I tend to buy that I think "HAS" to be official are controllers! I never have, and never will buy a 3rd party controller. They just dont seem as good as the originals!

Other than that, I dont really care if I buy a 3rd party charging station, Component cable, etc...

I love this site. So informative. After reading this topic I've decided to stick with just the basic things that help game play to be a bit more fun, like the zapper and the steering wheel and the golf club - that type of thing.

I`m with Herman - pads havde to be proper official. God the arguments I`ve had when playing 2 player games that it was "because I had the shit pad"

This extends to steering wheeles etc as well - unless the 3rd party is a reknowned 10/10 reviews etc - like specialist kinda thing.

Anything else I dont mind, unless it will look really shite (plastic, just crap, ykwim...) then I pay the extra for the official.
