Tasty, rich & easy.
You will need, potatoes, bacon, cheese, paprika & olive/cooking oil.
Cut spuds in half, then cut into wedges.
Rinse & pat dry.
Put a good dollop of olive oil into a pan, add the wedges & mix until coated.
Pour wedges onto baking tray, add a liberal coating of paprika,
Now sprinkle chopped bacon all over (uncooked) I prefer smoked for a stronger flavour.
Now pop in the oven , gas mark 7 (425/220 electric) for 20 mins.
Then cover in grated cheddar (or some other nice meltable cheese) again cheddar for flavour, and slam back in for 10 mins.
Enjoy
Quantities and time of cooking can all be adjusted to taste, prefer crisper bacon leave longer before adding cheese, or prefer cheese a bit more solid then add later.
Very easy & versatile recipe
