MSN virus

This mite be in the wrong section If it is can a mod move it please .
the virus is sent vie MSN as a file it is sent with out the sender knowing .but if you get it it sends it on at ramdem to ppl in your address book. at the moment iam not to sure what the virus is but as soon as i know i will pass on the info

Was it a image file? My mate got it earlier on, I just send him NOD hoping it will sniff it out.

On my mates PC mate, I did a scan just in case I was infected and found a trojan but that's all.

Update if you get it the only way you can get shut of it is the use this
http://onecare.live.com/standard/en-gb/default.htm

But you must uninstall any other antivirus prog before installing onecare

Me thinks this could have been started by micosoft to put ppl off useing Norton or McV and all the other anit virus progs about.
