    Default TomTom "One" v3

(How come this section is in vip?)

A guy I know has got a few of these- second hand but in v good nick- no box or mount but original car charger.

He wants £120 but I reckon he'll take £100. (Centain he will if I get a couple.) From looking on ebay that's saving about £50, right?

Think I'm gonna get one- anyone else want one? (I wouldn't ask you to send me any money up front or anything- you could send it once you get it and see that it's sound.)

Anyway, as well as seeing if anyone wants one, I wanted to see if anyne said anything like, "Don't bother getting one 'cos..."

Please reply asap as I'm ment to be seeing him tomorrow afternoon!

    Hi
They are very good and work very well. You can download all the speed camera updates and install them perfect and all the other updates (Voices, maps .. etc).
I think you can buy one of these new and complete in a box for around £130.00 so offer your mate £70.00 as second hand thats all it worth.

Buy one you know you want to.

    Hope this helps.

They were available on amazon 2 weeks ago for £99.99 - free uk delivery, and if you print it out and go to pc world they will price match it for you - I got the Christmas Cracker bundle with a £10 off crappy extras voucher for £99.99 that way.

There were a few threads on here and in biggies section about it

ONLY drawback is it has a fixed internal 512Mb memory, can't be upgraded by using memory cards - it's stuck at 512Mb - if you only wnat it for the UK or are prepared to mess around copying maps every time you want it then go for it

I just got one of these, what 'updates' can I use with it? I'm interested in speed camera updates and any better UK maps if they are available.

The pocketgpsworld.co.uk speed cam database is by far the best - you'll find it in this section (think 23rd Jan is the last "Free" version).
